Police in Barnet Borough are releasing an image of a man who they need to trace for being wanted on recall to prison.
Lester Jackson, 47, was convicted in July 1991 of murder and robbery of Hugh Paton in Finchley in August 1990. He is wanted on recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release on licence.
Jackson is white, 5ft 8ins tall and of slim build. He has tattoos on his left arm with the names 'Lester and Linda' and one on each wrist which read 'mum' and 'dad'.
He was last seen heading towards Cockfosters Station on Tuesday, 8 June at approximately 05:30hrs. He was wearing dark jeans and a leather jacket.
Jackson has left his known address, but is believed to have connections to Hendon, Barnet, Wembley, Hertfordshire and Lancashire.
Anyone who sees Jackson is advised not to approach him but to call 999 immediately.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police in Barnet via 101.
